Training and Competing.
In the year of 1995 I was a happy owner of a brown Dobermann, named Isak. All though he was of a very large breed, 74 cm, I decided to try out agility. Booth me and the dog enjoyed it very much and in 1997 we competed at the Swedish Championships.
Today I am still in love with agility and compete with two Border Collies and a cute medium sized Cocker Spaniel. I also have experience from competing and training with small dogs. In our family we keep five Border Collies and the Cocker Spaniel. We also have 50 sheep and their offspring. Beside agility I train and compete in herding.
Through the years I have had variously successes in the Swedish Championships with different dogs and breeds.
Commitments.
I am an Agility instructor and I train both beginners, those who just wish to have fun with their dog, and those who wish to compete as well as experienced competitors. I take much joy from learning, and to watch both pupils and dogs getting “the most” out of the sport.
I have been the chairman of the Agility Commission of the Swedish Working Dog Association. I am the Swedish delegate in FCI Agility Commission as well as in the Agility Commission of the Nordic Kennel Union.
Judging.
Agility judge since 1999. I am also a judge instructor.
I have had the pleasure of judging the Swedish Championships for three times.
I have had judging assignments in Sweden, Norway and Finland, and also on the island Åland, which belongs to Finland.
For the last two years I have served as one of the three measuring judges at the World Championships, which I have been asked to do also at the World Championships this year.
Nalle Jansson will be judging the Agility World Championships this year.
